Average life of between 30 to 40 years
The poles are impregnated with a chromium, boron and arsenic-free copper-based metal salt (Wolmanit/Tanalith) with an uptake according to NTR requirements for impregnation class A Pole.
In our production facility in Kälarne the agent Tanalith E 3463 is used and in the facility in Ludvika the agent Wolmanit CX-8WB is used.
The salt poles have an estimated average life of between 30 to 40 years. Compared to our new product Repellent, the salt poles are more icy in the winter because they contain a water-based impregnating agent.
